Q. What services does CaseLawAssociates.com provide?

A. Among the services we provide are:

	legal research with case summaries;
	objective in-house memoranda applying relevant case law to the facts of your case; and
	persuasive legal memoranda.

Q. Who does the work?

A. All research and writing projects are accomplished by experienced licensed attorneys. For more information about our staff, please refer to About Us section.

Q. What role does CaseLawAssociates.com’s service play in the final work product?

A. CaseLawAssociates.com is a support service for attorneys in private and corporate practice. We work solely for other attorneys, not for the general public. Any attorney using our services is expressly advised that we are not engaged in the practice of law, and that our work product does not constitute legal advice and is prepared solely for review by the requesting attorney. Q. How does CaseLawAssociates.com conduct its research?

A. We primarily use WestLaw and LexisNexis online legal research.

Q. How does CaseLawAssociates.com handle confidential information?

A. CaseLawAssociates.com has the same obligation to preserve the privileged information of your client as does a member of your office. We hold all client information in the strictest confidence.

Q. What are your rates?

A. CaseLawAssociates.com’s base rate is $110 per hour (5 business day turnaround); the rush rate is $150 per hour (2 business day turnaround). Both rates are significantly below those charged by competing national legal research firms. In all cases, online research costs are included in the hourly rate. Q. How do you bill for your work?

A. We request a deposit of 50% of the estimated cost upfront, and the balance within 15 days of receipt of the work-product. A budget for each project is always agreed to before CaseLawAssociates.com begins work.

Q. What is the procedure for submitting a project request?

A. To initiate a research and/or writing project, we invite you to use the Project Submission page. One of our staff attorneys will then contact you to discuss the project and to provide an estimated project cost.
